Your journey to the sunny island of Lanzarote

The ‘Aeropuerto César Manrique’ is the only airport on the Spanish Canary Island of Lanzarote.

Flights that take more than five hours usually include stopovers on the islands of Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria or Tenerife.
Greenwich Mean Time applies on Lanzarote.

Finally arrived
You arrive at Terminal 1. Terminal 2 is reserved for island flights. The airport is quite clearly laid out. The route to the baggage carousels is well signposted.

There are several ways to get to the bungalow

Airport transfer
Booked online in advance, e.g. via Zip Transfers or Sun Transfers.

We offer a private transfer at a price of €45 each way.

Taxi
There are usually a number of taxis waiting outside the arrivals hall. However, during holiday periods the queue can be quite long.
The journey takes around 30-35 minutes and costs around €65 one way.

Bus connection
There is a regular bus service between the airport terminal and Playa Blanca. The bus company is called Intercity Service. The bus stop is on the right hand side when you leave the airport building.
You can find the timetable at www.arrecifebus.com.

The cost of a one-way journey is around €4 per person.

Bus number 161 – there are 15 stops between the start of the journey at Terminal 1 and the bus station in Playa Blanca. The journey takes approximately 60 minutes.

If there are no taxis at the bus station, you will find the nearest one 400 metres away. From the bus station, cross to the opposite side of the road, then turn left to the roundabout. Then turn right and follow the road down towards the sea. There, to the left of the roundabout, is the taxi rank. From here it takes another 5 minutes by taxi to the house. Costs approx. 5 €.
